SG was delighted to be appointed as the rope access bridge inspection team to carry out the inspection of the bridge deck bearings of Span 2 of A82 Ballachulish Bridge, utilising rope access as the mode of access.
WORK SCOPE
Working closely with our valued client, the SG rope access bridge inspection team inspected and compiled a detailed photographic report, assessing and recording the condition of the bridge deck bearings, including meticulous inspection of the paint system, corrosion, position and material integrity of the bearings upper and lower plates, load distribution plates, welds, nuts & bolts and PTFE/Rubber.
