Restoring a magnificent masonry structure
As part of the full refurbishment of the splendid Coltbridge Viaduct, SG was delighted to have been subcontracted to carry out extensive masonry works throughout the structure, safely and efficiently completing the works to the highest standard where access was challenging, and other modes of access couldn’t reach.
WORK SCOPE
SG rope access masonry specialists swung into action to refurbish the structure, which included the removal of vegetation, re-pointing, grouting and stitching throughout each elevation including the piers and wingwalls, and stone repairs and lithomex works to string courses and other protruding masonry elements.
