Following the provision of a detailed condition survey carried out via rope access, SG was further appointed as Main Contractor to oversee and complete the refurbishment of the impressive brick chimney at Rosebank Distillery.
WORK SCOPE
Utilising a combination of Rope Access, MEWP and Scaffold, SG rope access masonry operatives completed extensive masonry works to the brick chimney from top to bottom, with metal elements refurbished and re-coated. The SG masonry team meticulously re-pointed, stitched, and repaired the brick, and repainted bands and caps and other metalwork, to bring the chimney back to its former glory.
