In 2009 a six-strong SG Access team travelled to the North of Scotland to perform the scheduled cleaning of high steelwork in the Norbord plant in Inverness. Since then SG high-level cleaning rope access operatives have been tasked with regular scheduled shutdown and maintenance PPM, cleaning and maintenance, inspection, painting, and welding works at high-level and in confined spaces at both their plants in Inverness and Stirling for over a decade.
WORK SCOPE
Over the years, alongside regular high-level and confined space cleaning & maintenance via rope access, we have completed multiple painting & coating projects on exhaust towers and silos, and our confined space operatives have carried out specialist confined space tasks such as welding in cyclones, internal plant inspections, or removing carbon deposits from cooker flues. We’re proud of the fact that we’ve been doing that for over 10 years with continuously positive feedback.
